DALLAS/FORT WORTH – Executive Producer and Host Jeff Whittington has announced he will step away from his role at KERA to pursue travel and new opportunities. The final episode of the weekly call-in program, Anything You Ever Wanted To Know, will air Friday, Dec. 14 at noon on KERA FM.

Whittington has served KERA for 22 years in numerous roles throughout the organization. “It has been an immense pleasure to work alongside Jeff and to share his many talents with our listeners,” said Sylvia Komatsu, KERA’s Chief Content Officer.

Following the final episode of Anything You Ever Wanted To Know on Dec. 14, KERA will air a selection of radio specials during the noon hour each Friday. The organization is currently identifying new, long-term programming opportunities to enhance its service to North Texas during this time each week.

“It’s been a great honor to serve the North Texas public radio and television audience for the last 22 years,” Whittington said. “Working at KERA was one of my dreams. My wife Nicole and I are looking forward to accomplishing our next dream of traveling and seeing most of the country over the next couple of years.”
