ABOUT KEN HERSH

Kenneth A. Hersh is co-founder and CEO of NGP Energy Capital Management, a premier investment franchise in the natural resources industry. Founded in 1988, NGP and its affiliates have managed approximately $13 billion of cumulative committed capital and made over 250 investments in natural resources companies. Hersh is responsible for directing the strategic and investment activities of the firm.

Hersh is a senior advisor for The Carlyle Group and serves on the Dean’s Council of the Harvard Kennedy School and on the Advisory Councils of the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University and The Bendheim Center for Finance at Princeton University. He also is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the World Economic Forum.
