This powerful documentary takes viewers behind the scenes at Dallas’ Baylor Medical Center on a day when doctors transplant the heart, liver and one lung of an 18-year-old woman who died in a car wreck. The video also documents the dramatic story of a potential liver recipient’s life-and-death race against time – and money – and explores the complex reasons why donated organs are unavailable for nearly two-thirds of the patients in the United States who need them.
