This year’s Fort Worth Opera Festival is comprised of an opera classic, a challenging new work, and a rarely performed opera. First was the lavish production of Verd’s La Traviata. Then came the regional premiere of the contemporary chamber opera, Dog Days. So what up next? The company will present another regional premiere, but this one is based on a Shakespeare masterpiece. Ambroise Thomas’ Hamlet has been re-imagined and set against an industrial Soviet-inspired nation. Win this Big Deal and receive a pair of orchestra level seats good for opening night, May 2, at Bass Performance Hall. Please be aware, since the performance is this Saturday we will be drawing our winner early so be sure to check you inbox Friday morning.
