Aylan Kurdi made the front pages of newspapers across the world when images of the young Syrian refugee’s body washed up on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Tima Kurdi had immigrated to Canada by the time she saw the picture of her nephew, and she joins us to talk about what it’s like to flee your home not knowing if you’ll find shelter elsewhere.
