Parsons Dance Is The First In-Person Dance Show For TITAS/Dance Unbound Since March
ArtandSeek.net November 17, 2020 22TITAS/Dance Unbound is kicking off its All American season with an in-person performance by Parsons Dance on November 20 at 8 p.m.
Parsons Dance will perform at the Winspear Opera House and run for an hour with no intermission. This season features only American dance companies in order to support artists who are working in the USA.
The Parsons Dance group has been in a “bubble” to allow the dancers to perform together in-person as they normally would. These dancers have been training and rehearsing at home. Since July, they have been quarantining together in live-work “pod” residencies at the Connecticut Ballet Center studios in order to create new work and collaborate with other members of the company.
The rest of the All American season looks like this:
- Ballet Hispanico: January 15, 2021.
- Doug Varone and Dancers: February 12, 2021.
- A.I.M. by Kyle Abraham: March 26-27, 2021.
- Aspen/Santa Fe Ballet: April 2-3, 2021.
- Special Event: Command Performance: June 12, 2021.
