KERA’s acclaimed national program features in-depth interviews and topical conversations airing on more than 200 stations.

August 1, 2024 – Public media organization PRX today announced a new distribution partnership with KERA’s daily public radio program Think

Hosted by acclaimed journalist Krys Boyd, broadcast nationally, and produced from KERA’s public media campus in Dallas, Texas, Think provides listeners a front row seat to a daily hour of deep discussion with groundbreaking experts at the forefront of national current affairs, culture, science and technology, health and more. Known for her exceptional interview style, Krys takes listeners beyond what they think they know through research and thoughtful questions.

PRX will serve as the public radio distributor of Think beginning September 3. Airing on more than 200 stations coast to coast –– including in Connecticut, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Illinois, North Carolina, Ohio, Florida, Louisiana, Nevada, Texas, Maryland, and elsewhere –– the show is now represented by PRX and remains available to stations across the United States.

PRX also serves as distributor of the Think podcast, available free on-demand across all major podcast platforms.

“Think embraces so many of the values that make public radio special,” says Krys Boyd, Host & Managing Editor. “Every day, we invite listeners to embrace curiosity, civility, conversation and thoughtfulness. We know PRX shares these same values, and we’re excited to partner with them and connect with even more listeners across the country.”

Think and Krys Boyd have earned more than a dozen national and regional awards since the show launched in 2006, including an Edward R. Murrow Award. Guests on the program have included Pulitzer-winning cultural critics, inventive astrophysicists, global philanthropists, bestselling authors, and major U.S. politicians from both sides of the aisle, among numerous others.

With a commitment to strengthening and expanding public media, PRX is the distributor of This American Life, Latino USA, The Moth Radio Hour, Reveal, Snap Judgment, and The Ezra Klein Show. PRX is also the distributor of multiple productions anchored out of public radio stations, including The World from GBH in Boston, Left, Right & Center from KCRW in Los Angeles, and Embodied from WUNC in North Carolina.

“We’re beyond excited to partner with KERA to distribute Think, which gives voice to communities in one of the fastest growing regions in the country,” said Sean Nesbitt, Senior Director of Industry Partnerships at PRX. “The show joins our distinctive portfolio of content that serves the myriad needs of listeners in today’s media landscape.”

“It’s rare for a show to explore a singular topic for a full hour,” says Stephen Becker, Executive Producer of Think. “But, we think that time and depth is more important than ever in today’s media climate. Plus, Think offers a distinct POV from the middle of the country. It’s going to be great to partner with PRX and grow the show.”
