The Black Academy of Arts and Letters hosts a Whitney Houston inspired poetry slam at the Clarence Muse Cafe Theatre. It’s all on you to check out “I’m Every Woman.”

See how this odd couple learns to laugh through the pain in “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York City.”
Five Latino artists investigate the characteristics of place in a show at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. Don’t forget to check out “Aún Recordamos Aquel Hogar” (We Still Remember What Once Was Home).
