Home for the Holidays is a classic pops concert filled with seasonal tunes and Christmas carols performed by special guests. This perennial favorite features magical snowfall and a visit from the big man himself, all the way from the North Pole. Soprano Mela Sarajane Dailey will perform in the concert conducted by Stuart Chafetz.

After that, the FWSO will ring in the new year with its show, Prohibition: A New Year’s Eve Celebration, a show reminiscent of the 1920s decadence and glamour. This show is conducted by William Waldrop and features vocalists Madison Claire Parks, Shayna Steele and Branson Norris Murphy. Both of these shows will be held in the Will Rogers Memorial Center.

Home for the Holidays has a whole lot of different types of music: some popular favorites from the Nutcracker ballet, some holiday programming of popular Christmas tunes,” said Keith Cerny, President and CEO of the FWSO. “It’s a fun evening out that our patrons always enjoy.”

“We are really leading the way on safe re-opening and taking care of our musicians and audiences,” said  Cerny. “We want to reassure people that they’re going to hear these great musical programs, but also we are paying huge attention to a safe re-opening.”
