Roni Carrasco, Assistant Marketing and Development Manager with the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in Richardson, invites theatergoers to visit their website or Facebook page and learn how you can stream “Menopause the Musical.”
“Menopause the Musical” is the longest-running scripted musical in Las Vegas history and has been around for 19 years. Yet, the musical parody about “the change” does not seem to age.
Set in a lingerie store, four women meet while shopping. After noticing their similarities they joke about their hot flashes, mood swings, wrinkles, weight gain, and much more. The 90- minute production is packed with classic pop songs from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.
Men enjoy seeing the comical production too, and can relate as they start to understand this time in their wives’, sisters’, or mothers’ lives.
For a limited time, you can now stream “Menopause The Musical” on the Eisemann Center’s web site. And no need to feel guilty about splurging on the $19 ticket. Not only are you guaranteed a fun night of entertainment, but you can watch it for a good cause. Right now, a portion of the streaming proceeds goes to The Actors Fund which provides emergency financial assistance to performing arts and entertainment professionals and continuing aid during the COVID-19 pandemic.
