Robert Wilson, Who Built KERA Programming, Has Died

Robert Wilson, who brought Jim Lehrer and Monty Python to American television audiences while leading KERA during its early years, died today after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was 75.

Wilson was also the patriarch of a star-studded family. His sons Owen, Luke and Andrew all became actors. His wife Laura Wilson is a noted photographer.
