State of the Arts Fort Worth: Emerging Creative Class
ArtandSeek.net September 18, 2018 29There’s a new generation of creatives in Fort Worth, and they’re putting their spin on all aspects of the city’s cultural life, from development and design to public art and curated events.
On September 28 at 6 p.m., KERA’s Art&Seek kicks off the first State of the Arts conversation of the season with “Trailblazers: Fort Worth’s Emerging Creative Class.” Jerome Weeks will lead a chat with some of the folks who are embracing the city – and changing it:
- Susan Gruppi and Jessica Miller, co-founders of M2G Ventures;
- Jonathan Morris, owner of Fort Worth Barber Shop;
- Red Sanders, founder of Red Productions
- Noel and Sara Viramontes of the Fort Worth Blackhouse.
The show starts at 6 p.m. at the Kimbell Art Museum’s Piano Pavilion Auditorium. But stick around afterward, because Visit Fort Worth is sponsoring a showcase for more of Fort Worth’s visionary entrepreneurs. Stay to network and discuss how Fort Worth is changing through innovation, food and culture.
Admission’s free, so come join us!
And big thanks to Visit Fort Worth, and our partners for State of the Arts Fort Worth, Kimbell Art Museum and Texas Christian University College of Fine Arts
