Feel like taking in some art, without going indoors? Well, the Dallas Museum of Art has just the thing.

The DMA Public Art Tour is a PDF map of 13 iconic Dallas outdoor artworks. Download the map and take it with you for a tour of public artworks in Big D that you can view from a distance. These include Pegasus, the large red sculpture in front of the Omni Hotel, Pioneer Plaza Cattle Drive which features 3 large bronze cowboys on horseback and 50 longhorn steers, the Dream mural on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and many more. Follow the map and post about it on social media. And be sure to tag the DMA with #DMAatHome.

The DMA has gone full virtual with summer camps this year as well. Little ones can practice exploring art, playing games, and making projects from the comfort of their own home. Campers will join in daily virtual camp sessions via laptop or tablet and an included art kit will have all the supplies needed to make masterpieces at home.

In addition to offering summer camps, the DMA is partnering with the Dallas Public Library to offer free youth art kits inspired by the Museum’s My|Gration exhibition, which traces the migration of people, objects, and ideas in art across times and cultures. Each kit contains bilingual activity instructions, art supplies, and a link to an introductory video and can be reserved on the DMA website.
