The Big Deal: Allegro Guitar Series Presents Virginia Luque
ArtandSeek.net March 18, 2015 11Spanish guitarist Virginia Luque began her formal training when she was just 6 years old. She studied with the legendary Andres Segovia and received her Master’s degree from Julliard. In addition to playing the guitar, Ms. Luque is also a conductor, award-winning poet, and a “Chef” graduate from the French Culinary Institute of New York. Ms. Luque has played in recital halls across the country including Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, and The Metropolitan Opera House. She will be coming to the metroplex to perform on behalf of the Allegro Guitar Series and we have tickets to the two different venues. Head to the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth when the Fort Worth Classic Guitar Society will host Ms. Luque on March 26. Or if you prefer catch Ms. Luque the next day on March 27, at University Park United Methodist Church in Dallas when the Allegro Guitar Society of Dallas will take a turn at hosting duties.
