KERA Create Viewer Wins National Create Cooking Challenge

Congratulations to Nikky Phinyawatana of Dallas!

KERA Create viewer Nikky Phinyawatana has been selected as one of the winners of the Create Cooking Challenge — a national competition that gives viewers the chance to share their favorite culinary tip, recipe or project in a 2-minute video.

Nikky’s video “Enjoy Life and Great Asian Food with Nikky’s Pad Thai” was selected from hundreds of entries by judges who are some of public television’s best known chefs, including Chris Kimball (America’s Test Kitchen), Pati Jinich (Pati’s Mexican Table), Jacques Pépin (Jacques Pépin Heart & Soul) and more.

“I am a passionate restaurateur who has found her calling to share the love of enjoying life and great asian food. I love KERA Create because the shows and people inspires me to be the best that I can at my craft and share that with my community! I grew up watching  Sarah M, Jacques P, Martha S, Ming T and Christopher. Their passion to share is contagious and just wanted to be apart of their love of cooking movement!”
