Children and parents alike will learn the importance of community-focused kindness and sharing by taking part in KERA’s annual Be My Neighbor Day event, as we teach children the importance of giving back to the community. We will also celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our neighbors, across North Texas, through craft activities, a cultural marketplace, and live performances. There will also be special appearances by Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat.

Each year we invite attendees to help support our North Texas neighbors. Check below for more information about this year’s beneficiaries. All the items collected at the Daniel Tiger Be My Neighbor Day event will be donated to families in the Vickery Meadow neighborhood.
