KERA Summer Learning Challenge 2024
The free summer learning program for kids!
Summer is around the corner, and that means KERA’s Summer Learning Challenge is back! This FREE program will keep children ages 2 to 8 active and engaged with a focus on awareness of their impact on the environment with resources such as PBS KIDS characters, hands-on activities, and more.

The Challenge starts Tuesday, May 28, and runs through Thursday, August 1.
How to participate:
- Check out our 2024 Summer Learning Challenge webpage for more info on activities and resources.
- Register your child(ren) for the challenge.
- All summer materials for 2024 are digital and can be printed at home or at your local library.
- Send a picture of the completed checklist before midnight on August 1 to keraeducation@kera.org.
- We would love for you to send photos of your child(ren) completing one or more checklist items with your email submission to keraeducation@kera.org
- Receive a prize pack in the mail when you complete the checklist!

How do you know if your child is on their way to completing the 2024 Summer Learning Challenge? The checklist! You don’t need to submit your checklist until the end of the summer, but view it to help stay on track:
KERA Kids Learn Facebook group
If you’re on Facebook, join our group. It’s where you can meet other parents and caregivers with children participating in the Challenge, share progress, plus get child development tips, articles and resources. If you’re not on Facebook, no worries. Ask questions or share photos with us by email: keraeducation@kera.org.
