As migrants continue to reach the U.S.-Mexican border in large numbers, the federal government is struggling to develop a workable strategy to address the issue. Sarah R. Coleman, assistant professor of history at Texas State University, joins host Krys Boyd to work through near-term policy options and to talk about ideas for improving the conditions in the countries migrants are fleeing. Her new book is “The Walls Within: The Politics of Immigration in Modern America.”
