New research shows that we can find meaning in life by simply appreciating the beauty that’s all around us. Joshua Hicks is a professor in the department of psychological and brain sciences at Texas A&M, and he joins host Krys Boyd to discuss why appreciating small, significant moments can lead to a sense of purpose, happiness and better connection with the world around us. His article “A New Dimension to a Meaningful Life” – co-authored with Frank Martela – was published in Scientific American.
